Can you imagine a Christmas without hope?

Help us ensure that every child in our community wakes up to a Christmas filled with hope, joy and wonder

Many families are facing the daunting reality of a financially challenging Christmas. For some, even essential necessities like school uniforms or a warm bed are out of reach.​

​

First Days is here to make a difference. Families tell us that our support gives them hope.​ We walk alongside families to give them hope for a future they can enjoy, not a life they are just surviving through.

​

Our 'Christmas Presence' project, a collaborative project with SHARE Wokingham, Wokingham Foodbank, and other local charities and groups, aims to bring joy, and the gift of hope to the families who need our help the most. 

​

We'd love your support to transform our Elevate Centre into a magical Christmas Grotto, where children can experience the joy of Christmas with a visit to Santa, festive crafts, and gifts to open on Christmas morning, chosen for them by their families.

  • Donate £25 to buy a gift for a child, chosen for them by their loved ones

  • Share our campaign on social media with friends, colleagues and family

​

Here’s what else we’re doing to help this winter:

  • We’ll be out and about with our mobile support hub, getting to the places where we know families need our services the most
     

  • We're providing winter warmers to the children who need them

​

  • We’re working in partnership with SHARE and Wokingham Foodbank to run our affordable Community Supermarket
     

  • We’re continuing to administer the household support fund to households who are struggling with rising costs of living
