Take some time away from your desk and help to provide services desperately needed to support local families in hardship. Volunteering is a great way to spend time with colleagues and boost team spirit.

As we have a small team at First Days, a group of energetic volunteers can literally quadruple our workforce for a day! We always have projects we’d like to do or need extra support to fast-track, some examples are:

​

• Setting up our school uniform shop, set up our Birthday/Christmas gift shop, decorate our public spaces at Christmas, supporting seasonal changes to our services
   

• Building shelves, decorating, moving stock, relaying stockroom or warehouse space helping us improve our services
   

• Sorting donations and stock or making deliveries to our families

We kindly ask for a financial contribution of £50 per volunteer, which helps support our work.
