As we have a small team at First Days, a group of energetic volunteers can literally quadruple our workforce for a day! We always have projects we’d like to do or need extra support to fast-track, some examples are:

​

• Setting up our school uniform 'shop', Christmas Presence events, supporting changes to our services and prepping for our seasonal events
   

• Building shelves, decorating, moving stock, relaying stockroom or warehouse space helping us improve our services
   

• Sorting donations and stock or making deliveries to our families

​

We kindly ask for a financial contribution of £50pp, which goes towards supervisory staffing costs and helps support our work.*

 

* The fee for volunteering days may be waived if your company has committed to raising funds for us which equal double the cost of the volunteering day, or where you have provided donations, goods or services in kind, or, for example, we are your company’s Charity of the Year.
